FAQ

Are you currently accepting new patients?

  • Yes, I am currently accepting patients who are paying privately or using out of network benefits. I have a waitlist for clients who are paying via insurance.

What is the cost of services if I don’t use insurance?

  • A therapy session costs $200. This cost is determined by my training and experience in the field, and generally at the low-end of the market rate of services for LCSWs with equitable experience in New York.

That’s expensive! Do you offer sliding scale?

  • Yes, I do! I understand that the cost of services can be prohibitive, and I want to work with you to make therapy as accessible as possible. During a consultation, we can discuss a variety of sliding scale options.

What state(s) are you licensed in?

  • I am licensed to practice therapy in the state of New York. This means that you must be in the physical state of New York for me to meet with you.

Where is your office?

  • My therapy office is currently 100% virtual! I use the HIPPA-compliant software Simple Practice for sessions.

What principles guide your practice?

  • I am guided by principles including, but not limited to, beliefs in harm reduction, trauma-informed care, health at every size (HAES), and a commitment to anti-racism. My practice is trans/queer/polyamorous friendly and rooted in feminist principles.
